"Now You Too Can Take Fish Oil!" 2008-06-21

Coromega is a unique form of fish oil. It delivers the Omega-3 fatty acids present in fish oil in a particularly efficient way, making it the most bioavailable form of fish oil I've ever heard of. It is tested to ensure that it is pure and not contaminated by mercury, or other contaminants or heavy metals. Only quality ingredient are used in its manufacture; it sweetened with stevia, probably the best natural sweetener of all.
Coromega comes in little daily dose squeeze packets that are convenient for travel and that keep it fresh for a long time (unlike some brands that go rancid easily). I carry some in my purse and sometimes take them before a meal out when I'm hungry but have to wait to eat, since they contain 20 calories. Even on an empty stomach, they cause me no digestive upset at all and I love the flavor. The orange is my favorite and doesn't taste at all like fish, but has an orange-y creamsicle flavor. Even children will love this! In this video, I show how to take the Coromega straight from the package.
Coromega does contain eggs, so if you're allergic, you should look for other sources of fish oil.
Amazon's price is fantastic, especially with the Subscribe and Save option, which I am on for this product. [...].
Highly recommended.

"Tasty!" 2006-11-21
By D. Egan
I've been taking Omega 3 Fish oil for several years for angina and arthritis. I have done a lot of research (read Dr. Barry Sears, Dr. Andrew Stoll) about various products and have bought very expensive products in the past.
I have greatly benefited from the EPA. I don't have hip pain when I sleep, although I still have pain when I walk (because I don't take enough fish oil) and I no longer have angina pain. My nephew who is hyperactive has also taken fish oil (omegabrite) and is not on Ritalin any longer. He and I are both walking miracles.
If you go to the Coromega site, they will send you a free sample of this product. I got it in the mail about 5 days ago and took it today for the first time. It is the best tasting fish oil I've ever had and I'm ordering more today. It doesn't have the percentage of EPA to DHA I prefer but, and this is important, I won't dread taking it, I can carry it in my purse so that I don't forget to take it and it is't messy.
If you have an egg allergy don't buy this. Go to the coromega site and research this first, but the price on Amazon is very good especially as I buy more then $25.00 and get free scipping.
"Great Product" 2006-08-10
By E. Rivera (San Luis Obispo, CA USA)
I love the taste of this and have been taking this for a few months now. Doctor recommended that I add Omega-3 to my daily vitamin intake and I chose to try this and love it. Doesn't taste like fish at all. I chill it in fridge and it has a great orange flavor. Easy to take and no mess. Will continue to purchase this product.
"Omega-3 and DHA without the fish oil burps!" 2008-07-31
By John Williamson (Bucks County, PA USA)
There are many other benefits to fish oil, including being useful in the treatment of a number of forms of depression, and many physicians recommend it for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease. But the problem for many is that they find the capsules to be intolerable for one reason: fish oil burps.
The Coromega Omega-3 Supplement, Orange Flavor, Squeeze Packets seem to eliminate that problem for most. It's packaged in convenient daily dose pudding-like squeeze packets. I personally like the taste of this and the lemon-lime variety (see below), but if one doesn't, they can easily be mixed with blended drinks or added to yogurt. These Coromega products contain top quality fish oil from deep, cold-water fish, which is said to be the best kind.
It should also be noted that low levels of DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) have been connected to various forms of depression, ADD (attention deficit disorder) and Alzheimer's disease. Various studies have revealed that brains of Alzheimer's patients have 30 percent less DHA than brains of comparably aged people who do not have the disease.
A couple of years ago my optometrist advised that I take fish oil capsules on a daily basis to help ward off macular degeneration. For those who don't know, this is a condition that occurs when the macula (the area at the back of the retina that produces the sharpest vision) weakens over time.
Age-related macular degeneration (AMD) is the most common cause of blindness among older adults in the US, and is said to affect over 7 million individuals older than 40 years. The frequency of AMD is likely to increase as the population ages. There is currently no known way to prevent the condition, but research has begun to identify potentially modifiable risk factors and nutrient-based treatments. More info on this can be found here:

In any case, if your health care practitioner has suggested fish oil as a treatment, this product is a tasty alternative to the capsules. It can also be found in other flavors, such as Coromega Omega-3 Fish Oil, Lemon Lime, 90 ct and Coromega Omega-3 Supplement, Orange Flavor with a Hint of Chocolate, 90 packets.
There are "good" and "bad" fats, and Omega-3 fatty acids are considered one of the "good" fats important for cellular, heart and metabolic health, along with being good for the eyes. DHA is one of those fatty acids that help maintain a healthy heart and circulatory system, along with maintaining triglyceride levels already within a normal range.
There are healthy and tasty alternatives to the fish oil capsules for many of us... and without the fish oil burps.
